One of my new favorite characters on “Lost” is Sawyer. He is the outcast who everyone loves to hate. I believe Tony Jones could fit this mold.
I am not saying Tony is from Texas or that he has long hair. Actually Tony has more of a Northern accent, but he and Sawyer do wear the scruff well and we can also see a similar jawline in all of this.
However, Tony does play the outcast role fairly well. He is the guy who is not afraid to say what he thinks and frankly doesn’t care if you agree with him or not. Simply put: Tony Jones is Emergent’s cowboy.
These two mix so well because they are extremely confident. It can sometimes make others uncomfortable up to the point where you may not trust them, but when the chips are down, Sawyer will come through with the right thing.
And of course, we can all tell that Tony does truly care about what he does and other people. Especially his readers. He knows how people work and all. The same definitely goes for Sawyer.
Sawyer is bold and I would say he’s ahead of the curb. He represents what others may think or want to do, but they don’t have the balls to just do it.
What do y’all think? I may be off base here, but hey, why not? Comments are always appreciated and I shall come on through with some more emergent leaders later on this week.
